ReceiptEdit

ReceiptEdit is a browser-based tool for preparing receipts and invoices. It is useful when a freelancer or small business needs a readable document from transaction details they already have. You can edit business and customer information, add line items and a logo, check the live preview, and download a PDF or PNG. The invoice generator has a choice of layouts and fonts, with fields for invoice dates, items, tax, discounts, payment information, and notes. It works without account registration. The separate receipt maker is at https://receiptedit.com/receipt-maker and is intended for recording completed transactions. The application uses Next.js and React. A practical part of the work is keeping the form, on-screen preview, and exported document consistent while supporting different receipt layouts. Template-specific fields and calculations vary, so users should review the amounts and final preview before downloading. These tools create documents from the information entered. They do not process payments, retrieve a merchant's original receipt, or verify that a transaction occurred.
