Squadcard
Every group that plays football every week has the same three arguments: who's in, whose team is stacked, and who was actually the best player. Squadcard is an app for football groups that play every week that settles all three.
Everyone says in or out from a link (no app needed), the teams are picked fair from everyone's rating with the keepers split, and after the game each player rates everyone else out of 10. Only totals are shown, never who voted what, and those totals become each player's card, which moves every week. Player of the match, Team of the Week, seasons with awards, and a pitch-money tracker.
How it's built: the website and backend are Next.js and TypeScript on Vercel, with Postgres on Neon. The iPhone app is SwiftUI and a thin client: ratings, awards and card rules live on the server, so they change without an App Store update. The team picker exists twice, in TypeScript and Swift, and both must pick exactly the same teams, pinned by a shared set of test cases (I wrote that up on DEV).
Free to join a squad; the organiser runs it with Squad Pro. Free team generator at squadcard.app/team-generator.
