Invoice Generator

The Invoice Generator is a free tool that lets Canadian contractors and service businesses build a professional invoice and download it as a PDF. There is no account to create, no email to hand over, and no limit on how many invoices you make. Add your business details and an optional logo, enter the customer and the province or territory where the work was done, then add line items with a description, quantity, and rate. A live preview shows the exact page your customer will receive as you type. The tool works out GST or HST for the province you pick, and for British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Quebec it can add PST, RST, or QST as its own separate line. It is built around how trades actually get paid. Record a discount, or a deposit already paid, and the deposit comes off the balance owing rather than the subtotal, so the tax on the job stays correct. Set a due date, add payment terms, include your GST/HST number if you are registered, and let the tool fill in the next invoice number for you. Quote numbers run on their own separate series. Your logo and business details stay on your own device. The tool is a document builder, not tax advice, and it creates a PDF that you send yourself.
