QuoteToPaid is a free invoice, quote and estimate maker for contractors, freelancers and small businesses. The problem: most invoicing apps make you sign up, start a trial or pay monthly, often just to remove a watermark or get past a 3-invoices-a-month limit. Many tradespeople end up writing quotes in a basic text document. What it does: pick one of 8 clean templates, or start from ready-made lines for 20 trades (roofing, plumbing, cleaning and more). Fill it in and download a PDF, Word or Excel file with working formulas, or copy it into Google Docs or Sheets. An approved estimate becomes an invoice in one click. No account, no watermark, and your data stays in your browser. How I made it: built solo as a fast static site, with the PDF, Word and Excel files generated right in the browser, plus trade-specific pages and job calculators. Stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, React-PDF, docx and ExcelJS for the downloads, Cloudflare Workers for hosting, Supabase for the Pro waitlist, PostHog for anonymous analytics.
