TimoDesk
TimoDesk is time tracking software for teams and small businesses, with employee monitoring built in. It records hours, activity levels and screenshots on Windows, macOS and Linux, and brings everything into one web dashboard, so managers can see what the team worked on without chasing anyone for status updates.
Most time trackers keep screenshots, activity levels and full reports behind their higher plans. TimoDesk takes a different approach: one plan at $1 per user per month with every feature included. There is no seat minimum, no annual contract and no paid upgrade. You are billed after each month, only for members who actually tracked time, and every new organization gets a 15-day free trial with no card required.
What TimoDesk includes:
Time tracking: a desktop timer for every project and task, with offline tracking that syncs when the connection returns.
Screenshots: captured every 3 to 60 minutes while the timer runs, each one linked to its task, with per-member settings.
Activity levels: how often the keyboard and mouse were used. TimoDesk never records what people type.
App and website usage: which apps and sites were used during tracked time.
Project management: kanban boards, list and calendar views, with time tracked on every card.
Timesheets and exports: weekly worklogs and monthly timesheets as PDF, plus CSV reports.
Reports and analytics: hours and activity per member, project and day, with daily and weekly summary emails.
Performance leaderboards: top and low performers ranked, so uneven workloads show up early.
Manual time with approvals: members can request missed time, and organizers choose who approves it.
Client portal: a separate login for each client that shows only their projects.
Roles and permissions: organizers, business managers and team managers each see what they should.
Who it is for: staffing and talent agencies that need proof of remote hours for clients, virtual assistant agencies, digital agencies and studios that bill by the hour, consultants, software and IT teams, and remote, hybrid or in-house teams across any time zone. All time is stored in UTC and shown in the organization's own time zone, which makes it easy to manage people in Manila, Dhaka, London and New York in the same report.
