Stroop Test
The Stroop Test is a simple attention challenge based on a surprisingly tricky task: identify the color you see while ignoring what a word says.
For example, the word "BLUE" might appear in red. If the task asks for the text color, the correct answer is red, not blue.
I added two modes to PickTests. Classic keeps the same rule throughout the test, while Switch changes whether you need to identify the text color or the background color.
The challenge isn't just answering quickly. You also need to stay accurate when the information on the screen becomes distracting.
At the end, the test shows your accuracy and average response time. It supports mouse, touch, and keyboard input, with recent results saved locally.
It's a free browser challenge that takes only a few minutes to try.
