Mental Rotation Test

Mental Rotation Test is a spatial reasoning challenge where you compare three-dimensional shapes viewed from different angles. The interesting part is that two objects can look different because of rotation while still having exactly the same structure. A mirrored shape, however, isn't necessarily a valid match. I developed two modes for PickTests. Match asks you to identify which option represents the same object as the reference shape. Pair presents two objects and asks whether they can match through rotation alone. The goal is to pay attention to how the blocks connect, rather than relying only on the overall silhouette. After finishing, you can review your correct answers and compare your result with earlier attempts. The test is free, browser-based, and designed as an informal spatial thinking challenge rather than a professional ability assessment.
