Recessed Light Calculator

Recessed Light Calculator is a free browser tool for preliminary general lighting in one rectangular room. Set room dimensions and heights, fixture lumens, beam angle and target illuminance; inspect a 2D recessed-light layout and export PNG or CSV positions. I maintain the project. It uses a simplified lumen/beam model built with Astro, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS; the main planner's UF/LLF remain fixed, while the separate Lumen Calculator page exposes them. Results are planning estimates, not measured photometry, IES/CAD integration, electrical advice or installation approval.
