Managing a BigCommerce store often requires multiple apps to handle everything from boosting sales and recovering abandoned carts to improving customer experience. This approach can be expensive, time-consuming, and can even slow down your store due to app conflicts and excessive scripts. Store owners needed a simpler, more efficient solution. I built Crucials with the goal of consolidating all the essential tools into one seamless platform. Starting with feedback from BigCommerce merchants, I prioritized features that matter most, like Sticky Add-to-Cart buttons, Sale Countdown Timers, and Currency Converters. The focus was on creating a lightweight, easy-to-use app that integrates smoothly into BigCommerce stores without compromising performance. Crucials is powered by modern, scalable technologies. The backend is built on Node.js, while the frontend uses React.js. Data is securely stored and processed on Heroku, with Amazon S3 handling file storage.
