I built Hosted.md because I was fed up with how complicated it is to get a simple website online. It's a platform where you write your content in Markdown, and we instantly turn it into a beautiful, professional-looking website. It's all about making publishing as simple as writing. How We Built It Hosted.md is a modern web application designed for speed and simplicity. It's built on the Laravel framework, which handles all the backend logic and data. For the user interface, we used Livewire to create a dynamic and interactive experience without a complex JavaScript framework. The entire front end is styled with Tailwind CSS, allowing us to build a clean and highly customizable interface quickly. Our Tech Stack We're all about performance and reliability. That's why we use Cloudflare as our CDN, ensuring that your website loads fast for visitors no matter where they are in the world. For storing and publishing customer websites, we leverage Cloudflare R2, a secure and scalable object storage solution.
