WhatsApp CRM - WAPlus
At some point, WhatsApp quietly became my main channel for client conversations.
What started as a few chats turned into dozens of ongoing threads — leads, users, partners — all mixed together in a single inbox.
I didn’t really need a full CRM.
What I needed was context:
- who this person was
- what we talked about last time
- whether I needed to follow up
Spreadsheets and notes didn’t stick, mainly because they lived outside the actual conversation.
I ended up using a Chrome extension called
[WhatsApp CRM - WAPlus](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/waplus-crm-best-ai-powere/jmjcgjmipjiklbnfbdclkdikplgajhgc).
It adds lightweight CRM-style features directly on top of WhatsApp Web:
labels, contact notes, and a bit of structure without forcing a new workflow.
It’s not trying to replace a real CRM, and that’s kind of the point.
For small teams, solo makers, or anyone handling conversations themselves, this setup feels much more natural.
Just sharing in case anyone else is slowly turning WhatsApp into their backend.
