Directory.Top is a modern business directory platform built to make it easy for business owners to present their company online in a clean, structured way, and for visitors to quickly discover the right service or business without digging through cluttered, spammy listings. The core problem it solves is simple: most directories are either outdated, overloaded with low-quality entries, or built more for SEO games than real people. Directory.Top focuses on clear listings, sensible categories, and a straightforward submission flow so real businesses can be found and understood fast. I built Directory.Top as a full web application with an emphasis on speed, maintainability, and a consistent UI. The project is structured around a scalable backend that can handle categories, locations, listing submissions, and future expansion into a larger network of directories. On the frontend, the goal was to keep the experience familiar and responsive, using a layout system that works well on both desktop and mobile. Stack used: Symfony (backend) and Bootstrap (frontend).
