Super Simple Habit Tracker

The Super Simple Habit Tracker is a web-based tool for people who want a clear, no-fluff way to stay consistent with their habits. Most habit systems fall into two extremes: plain spreadsheets/text documents that are flexible but boring and offer no feedback, or apps packed with tons of needless features and 15 different styles of chart and graph that make updating and reviewing your habits a daunting chore. This website solves that by putting everything on one screen and focusing on what actually drives behavior change: 1) habit streaks and 2) measurable daily output. This website allows you to track consecutive "days in a row I've done this" streaks, which helps to build momentum. This acts as a powerful vesting mechanism to get you to do the work each day (because if you don't, you'll break the streak you've built up in that habit area.) You can also log your actual, quantified work completed for each day — time spent or counts — against self-defined performance targets on a "terrible-bad-acceptable-good-excellent" scaling. The tool provides immediate visual feedback so you can see at a glance whether you’re meeting your standards or falling short of your objectives. Instead of guessing how you’re doing, you have an honest snapshot across all your habits in one place. I built it as a browser-based app with a focus on speed, simplicity, and reliability. The goal was to create something frictionless enough to use every day, while still providing meaningful insight into performance and consistency. The site is built using simple HTML/CSS/Javascript. This website provides users with a simple system that makes effort visible, reinforces discipline through streaks, and helps users steadily improve without the clutter of traditional habit apps.Super Simple Habit Tracker screenshot
