AstroCalcolo is a high-precision astrology platform built specifically for the Italian community. The Problem: Most existing astrology tools in the Italian market are outdated, slow, and cluttered with intrusive ads. I wanted to create a modern, minimalist alternative where data accuracy meets a seamless user experience. How I made it: As an independent maker and a mother of two, I built this project during "pockets of time." I leveraged an AI-assisted development workflow to rapidly prototype and integrate complex astronomical algorithms, ensuring millisecond-precision for natal charts (Tema Natale) and synastry reports. My background in auditing helped me maintain a "perfectionist" focus on data integrity throughout the build. The Tech Stack: Next.js & TypeScript for a robust, performant web architecture. Tailwind CSS for a clean, mobile-first minimalist design. AI-assisted Engineering for logic optimization and rapid deployment. Custom Astronomical Libraries for high-accuracy planetary calculations.
