Mobile Webcam for Chrome

This lightweight Chrome extension turns your phone camera into a webcam for your desktop Chrome browser. It began as an experiment but grew into a public application. The main idea was to eliminate the need for employees to install heavyweight external applications on their phones and computers to allow them to use their phone cameras as webcams in Google Meet meetings. We use the WebRTC protocol and standard browser APIs for camera access and direct video transfer. The extension was designed for local networks to avoid using external servers, except for the signaling server, during connection establishment.
