YTVidHub - Batch YouTube Subtitle Downloader & AI Mind Mapper
What is it & The Problem it Solves:
We waste hours watching long YouTube videos just to extract a few key insights. YTVidHub is a productivity tool designed to turn video content into structured knowledge instantly.
It’s not just a downloader—it allows you to batch download subtitles from entire playlists or channels, and then runs that text through an AI engine. With one click, YTVidHub analyzes hours of video content, provides a comprehensive summary, and generates a visual Mind Map. It’s the ultimate time-saver for researchers, students, content creators, and lifelong learners who want to digest information 10x faster.
How I made it:
I was trying to study a massive playlist of tutorials and found myself manually copy-pasting transcripts into ChatGPT. It was a nightmare. Existing tools were either single-video only or lacked visual outputs. I built YTVidHub to automate the entire workflow: Extract -> AI Analyze -> Visualize. It turns a 2-hour podcast into a 2-minute actionable mind map.
Tech Stack used:
Backend & Extraction: [e.g., Node.js / Python] for reliable subtitle extraction.
AI Integration: [e.g., OpenAI API] for parsing huge transcripts and extracting logical structures.
Frontend & Visualization: [e.g., Next.js] combined with [e.g., Markmap / React Flow] to render beautiful, interactive mind maps.
