AI Caricature Generator (aicaricature.me) is a fun, AI-powered web tool that instantly transforms standard portraits into stylized, exaggerated caricatures. It fills a niche for users who want unique, humorous social media avatars or personalized digital gifts without hiring a professional sketch artist. Why I made it: I’ve always been fascinated by street artists who can capture a person’s essence through exaggeration. I wanted to see if I could replicate that "artistic soul" using generative AI. The goal was to create a "one-click" experience that delivers high-resolution, print-ready results in seconds. The Tech Stack: Frontend: Next.js for a fast, SEO-friendly interface. Image Processing: Custom facial landmark detection to guide the "exaggeration" parameters. AI Model: Fine-tuned diffusion models optimized for caricature and sketch aesthetics. Storage & Delivery: AWS S3 and CloudFront for fast image serving and high-resolution downloads. I’m currently experimenting with different artistic styles (pencil sketch vs. full color).
