Export to Figma is a Chrome extension I built to make working between live websites and Figma much faster. A lot of the time, developers already have the pages built and designers just need to make a few UI updates or improvements. But before even starting the design work, the whole layout has to be recreated in Figma again - spacing, text, structure, images, everything. I built this extension to remove that repetitive step. It lets you capture any website (or specific section) and paste it directly into Figma as editable layers. Typography, colors, spacing, layout, images, and structure are preserved, giving you a clean starting point instead of a screenshot. It also works surprisingly well with modern AI-generated websites from tools like Claude, Lovable, Bolt, and moew.
