The Rice Purity Test

What it is & Problem it solves: The Rice Purity Test is a popular 100-question survey traditionally used by college students as a self-assessment tool to measure their level of innocence or life experiences. While the test is widely known, many existing online versions are hosted on outdated, non-mobile-friendly websites cluttered with intrusive ads, pop-ups, and clunky user interfaces. I built this modern version to provide a clean, fast, completely ad-free, and privacy-focused experience. Users can easily take the test, get an instant score, and securely share their results with friends without navigating a web-design nightmare from the early 2000s. How I made it & Stack: I focused heavily on responsiveness and lightweight performance to ensure it loads instantly on mobile devices. The stack used includes: Frontend: HTML5, CSS3 (Tailwind CSS for a clean, modern aesthetic), and modern JavaScript to handle score calculation locally. Privacy: Zero backend database for storing individual answers, ensuring complete user anonymity.
