Block Poster

Block Poster is a lightweight, zero-friction web utility designed for digital illustrators, educators, and DIY craft hobbyists. Standard home and office printers are completely locked into small, single-page dimensions like A4 or Letter. When you need a giant visual asset—like a backdrop, classroom banner, or wall art—the process usually involves expensive commercial print shops or heavy desktop design software. To solve this friction, I built a browser-based digital twin that automatically partitions any large image into a precise grid of standard printable sizes. It generates a clean, multi-page PDF document with built-in margins, making physical assembly straightforward after printing. The tool features a pure client-side architecture built with Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript. All image slicing and rendering logic execute locally inside your web browser. This ensures that your personal creative assets are never uploaded or stored on remote servers, providing absolute privacy by default with zero registration walls.
