PDFem is a free web-based PDF toolkit that covers pretty much everything you'd need for day-to-day document work. You can merge, split, compress, rotate, crop and reorder PDF pages. There's a full set of converters too — PDF to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG, PNG and the other way around. It also handles image stuff like HEIC to JPG, WebP conversions and image compression. What makes it a bit different from the usual PDF tools is the AI side. There's a PDF Summarizer that pulls out the key points from long documents and a ChatPDF feature where you can actually have a conversation with your PDF and ask follow-up questions about what's in it. Other useful bits: fill and sign PDFs, redact sensitive content, add watermarks, password protect files, run OCR on scanned pages and flatten forms. Everything works in the browser without creating an account. Files get deleted automatically after processing.PDFem screenshot
