RigPolice

RigPolice is a set of 40+ free browser tools to test gaming and computer gear: mouse, monitor, keyboard, microphone, gamepad, and phone. No install, no sign-up, results in seconds. The problem it solves: when a mouse double-clicks, a monitor has a dead pixel, or a key stops working, most people can't tell if it's the hardware, a driver, or the browser. Each tool isolates one fault, so you know what's actually broken before you file a warranty claim or buy a replacement. There's also a mouse sensitivity converter that keeps your cm/360 fixed when you switch games. How it's built: Astro 7 with static output, Svelte 5 for the interactive widgets, Tailwind v4 and daisyUI. Everything runs client-side, so there is no backend. Hosted on Cloudflare Workers Static Assets and deployed from GitHub Actions. Search is Pagefind, analytics is Umami. It's static-first and SEO-first: every tool is a fast self-contained page and the widgets hydrate as islands. Built solo.
