CstWeave: A 100% On-Device, Privacy-First Tab Region GIF & WebM Recorder

I built CstWeave to fix a privacy problem with modern screen recorders. Most existing extensions stream recording data to external cloud servers, mandate account sign-ups, enforce upload queues, and place watermarks on exports. When capturing internal admin dashboards, bug reproductions, or client tools containing sensitive data, uploading media to third-party cloud servers is a security risk. CstWeave was created to provide a lightweight, privacy-first alternative that processes and encodes tab-region GIFs and WebMs 100% on-device inside local browser memory.
