DiagramTheGame

DiagramTheGame is a browser-based tool for coaches to create and animate plays and drills. Coaches can place players, draw movement and passing routes, add cones and annotations, build multi-frame animations, and organize their work into playbooks, practice plans and scouting reports. Diagrams can also be shared directly with players or published for other coaches to discover. It started as LacrosseLabs and has since expanded to support basketball, men’s, women’s and box lacrosse, ice hockey, floorball, field hockey, ultimate, indoor and beach volleyball, handball, and water polo. The editor is structured so the sports can share the same core tools while still having their own fields, positions and sport-specific behavior. DiagramTheGame is built with Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
