VAT Engine

I’m building VAT Engine, an EU VAT API and compliance platform for ecommerce, SaaS, and headless commerce. What started as a VAT calculation API has grown into current + historical rate lookup, product tax classes, OSS/IOSS workflows, transaction evidence, multi-store reporting, and Shopify integration. The goal is to make EU VAT easier to integrate without every developer having to maintain country-specific tax logic and rate data themselves. Built with Go, Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Docker. Currently in free alpha and open to developer feedback.
