Onsite Link Verdict

A WordPress plugin that checks the links and images on a site and shows the evidence behind every verdict: the HTTP status code, the full redirect chain, and the exact post and field where the link was found. A 404 or 410 is only reported as broken after a second confirmation, so servers that merely block automated requests do not end up in your report. It is deliberately gentle on the site: 100 links per run, a 45 second ceiling, 2 KB downloaded per response, HEAD before GET, and one request per unique URL. Everything runs on your own server, with no account and no external service. Built in PHP on the WordPress plugin API, with a small amount of vanilla JavaScript for the report screen. Free on WordPress.org; the Pro add-on has bulk URL replacement with preview and undo, CSV export and a silence list.
